GATHERING BELGIUM'S TOP INDUSTRIES IN DAVOS

The Belgium House will open its doors for the first time during the World Economic Forum’s 2024 Annual Meeting in Davos.

The House is a private initiative by the most prominent Belgian companies to showcase the assets of the Belgian economy, supported by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and coordinated by European Business Summits.

It will feature conferences, workshops and panel discussions with the participation of global CEOs and inspiring speakers, in dialogue with major Belgian companies such as AB InBev, Syensqo, Fluxys, AvH-DEME, Belfius and Port of Antwerp-Bruges. A cocktail reception will be attended by T.T.M.M. the King and the Queen of the Belgians and the Prime Minister.

This inaugural initiative takes place near the start of Belgium’s six-month Presidency of the Council of the European Union, placing it as a hub for new ideas from industries to face the reality of a world in transformation.

WHERE WE ARE

At the heart of the World Economic Forum, the Belgium House in Davos is situated in a prominent spot on the Promenade, accessible to everyone (white badges not required.)

The Belgium House aims at joining forces and gathering energies of several Belgian stakeholders in one single venue during the entire WEF week.

“We are channeling the collective energies of Belgium’s top industries – notably the biopharma, renewable energy and international logistics sectors – into a single, influential focus point”

Arnaud Thysen

Director General, European Business Summits
